Ether project is envisioned as a platform for young and diverse artists from South Asia to experiment with various methods, mediums, and forms. Its goal is to challenge how art can be exhibited and perceived- amplifying the visual experience that art-viewing should be. In this vein, Ether Project aspires to conduct shows across cities, villages, countries, and continents to cross-pollinate ideas and foster collaboration of artists far and wide. Transforming and amplifying art and its very reception, we aspire to be a one-stop resource for a diverse audience of students, scholars, artists, and collectors. We are a collective working towards democratizing art and disseminating it to a broader public eye. Our goal is entwined with representing our artists through the conventional gallery spaces while embedding art in the same web of the cities, striking meaningful discourses around art and its immense connotations and contexts.
